Description

Diane Hillmann, of the National Science Digital Library Project at Cornell, will discuss metadata activities for the National Science Digital Library Project. Diane will address the configuration of the NSDL Metadata Repository, how standards have impacted the NSDL architecture, the proposed format for NSDL annotation records, and current research on Simple Metadata Based Services (a.k.a. SiMBaS)

The initial release of the NSDL is scheduled for December 2002, so we hope you will be able to join us for Diane's timely presentation on the innovative metadata work that she and other members of the NSDL team are doing.
